The impression that the Flying Flea leaves me with is a rather positive one. This is Royal Enfield's first electric bike—but certainly not the last. And as their first dabble with cleaner mobility, it's fantastic. Right from the build quality to the features and riding experience, Royal Enfield took no shortcuts. This is not a half-hearted attempt at going electric, but rather a serious one, which makes me excited for the rest of the EVs coming up, starting with the S6. However, it's not perfect. A better seat and easier ergonomics will make it a lot more appealing. This is a motorcycle you should seriously consider if you are looking to buy an electric one. Priced at Rs 2.79 lakh, Royal Enfield do not see this as a mass-market motorcycle and are looking to target premium customers. Smaller volumes won’t hurt them, as the Flea will not be a breadwinner.
